What is a Solar Charge Time Calculator?
A solar charge time calculator estimates how long solar panels take to charge a battery. It uses battery capacity, voltage, state of charge, solar panel watts, peak sun hours and charging efficiency.
How long to charge a battery with solar panels?
First calculate the battery energy that must be restored. Then divide that energy by effective solar charging power. For daily solar charging, divide the ideal charging hours by peak sun hours to estimate how many solar days are needed.
